Table - best surf conditions forecast for Peruibe over the next 16 days.
Alright folks, Rusty here. Let's have a look at what's cookin' for Peruibe over the next couple of weeks.
Right off the bat, it's a bit of a slow start. The first real surfable day doesn't pop up until Saturday the 11th. We've got a bit of a wait on our hands.
The pick of the early action looks like Sunday morning, the 12th. We've got a clean 3ft of swell coming from the SE with a nice 12-second period, and the wind is going offshore from the WNW. That's a recipe for some clean, lined-up waves at Peruibe. The water temp is sitting right around 67°, which is pretty much average for this time of year, so nothing too wild there.
The real standout, though, is Tuesday the 14th and Wednesday the 15th. We see a nice jump in size. Tuesday morning, the 14th, is looking glassy with a solid 5ft of SSE groundswell, period around 11 seconds. The wave energy is moderate (513). That's a proper session. Then Wednesday morning, the 15th, is even better. Glassy again, 5ft from the SE, and the wave energy is getting stronger (676). For a river break like Peruibe, a long period swell like this can really set up some nice, rippable walls. Just keep in mind the crowds are *often* here, so expect some company.
After that, the swell drops a bit, but we get another nice morning on Friday the 17th. Glassy conditions with 4ft of ESE swell, and the energy is still quite punchy (822). That's a solid morning session.
Then things get small. By the 19th and 20th, we're down to knee-high dribble. The energy drops right off into the double digits (71, 61). The rest of the run into the 25th is mostly ankle-biters and poor conditions. Not much to get excited about in that second week.
So, to wrap it up: your best bets are the glassy mornings on Tuesday the 14th, Wednesday the 15th, and Friday the 17th. The earlier part of the weekend has some fun, clean options too, but those mid-week windows are the ones to target.
Stay stoked.
