Alright, Rusty here. Let’s break down what Infinities has in store for us over the next couple weeks.

Right now it’s a little slow. Friday afternoon, July 10th, there’s some lumpy 5ft easterly windswell with a short 7-second period, and a cross-off breeze blowing at 12 mph. The water’s 79°, about normal for this time. Combined energy is moderate (362), but the tide and timing are off. Nothing to get excited about.

Things start picking up Monday, July 13th. That morning we get chest-high 5ft easterly swell, period bumping to 8 seconds, and a lighter 9 mph cross-off wind. Combined energy hits 717 – solid moderate energy, and it’s marked for very good surf. The afternoon holds at 5ft, wind drops to 6 mph, glassy clean. That Monday is the first standout for Infinities – a reef and point break handling that east swell nicely. Crowds are possible but not packed.

Tuesday the 14th switches up: a 3ft west swell with a long 16-second period, offshore wind at 6 mph in the morning. Combined energy of 643. That’s a proper groundswell, bringing lined-up waves to this point break. Fun size for intermediates.

Wednesday the 15th stays similar: 3ft west swell, 15-second period, light 6 mph cross-off wind. Energy around 534. Clean and good.

Thursday the 16th: 3ft west swell, 14-second period, light 6 mph wind turning offshore later. Energy 614. Another solid day.

Second week has some bumps. Friday the 17th afternoon hits 7ft of short-period easterly windswell (6 seconds) with gusty 16 mph cross-off wind. That’s expert territory – choppy and powerful. Combined energy 747, but quality is marginal.

Saturday the 18th through Sunday the 19th brings 5ft to 6ft easterly windswell, short period, moderate cross-off winds. Energy moderate, but conditions are blown out. This beach-and-reef setup looks more interesting for kite surfing than paddle surfing those days.

Things clean up Monday the 20th and Tuesday the 21st. Monday morning: 6ft east swell, 7 seconds, light 6 mph cross-off, combined energy 586 – very good conditions. Tuesday afternoon has a punchy 6ft east swell at 8 seconds, energy 797, with cross-off breeze.

Wednesday the 22nd drops to smaller, longer-period south and east swells (2ft to 3ft, 14 seconds). Thursday the 23rd is a gem: 2ft of SSW groundswell with a very long 20-second period. Perfect for this point and reef – clean, lined-up, glassy with light 6 mph wind. Combined energy 687. That’s the second standout – smooth, mellow perfection.

The 24th and 25th of July continue that trend with similar SSW groundswell, 15-18 seconds, light winds, clean conditions. Size stays under 3ft but quality is excellent.

The best on offer? Monday July 13th for the bigger, clean east swell at 5ft-5ft with light winds, and Thursday July 23rd for that long-period SSW groundswell – small but glassy and smooth.

Crowds are possible, but Infinities is fairly consistent, so it doesn’t stay flat for long.

Rusty.
