Table - best surf conditions forecast for Infinities over the next 16 days.

Alright folks, Rusty here. Let’s take a look at what Infinities has in store for us over the next couple of weeks. The water temp is sitting about normal for this time of year, no big anomalies.

We’ve got a mixed bag of conditions coming. Saturday the 11th starts off with a bit of promise: a clean 5ft easterly swell, period around 8 seconds with 559 combined wave energy (moderate). Wind is a cross-off from the ENE, so the setup looks pretty good and surfable. But then things drop off fast that afternoon with a tiny south-southwest groundswell – the pulse is there but it’s too small to really get excited about. Sunday and Monday see the energy jump back up a bit, with some E swells pushing 5ft to 6ft and moderate energy levels (632 to 733), but periods are short, around 7 to 8 seconds, so the shapes won’t be as clean. The wind stays cross-off, so it’s not blown out, but not perfect.

The real standout comes on Tuesday the 14th. We get a solid 16-second period groundswell from the west, around 3ft, with nice energy readings (622 and 586). In the morning it’s cross-off, but by afternoon the wind goes offshore from the NE and it’s glassy clean. That’s the best call for the whole run – Infinities, being a reef and point, loves that long-period west swell. The sets will be clean, lined up, and the paddle out will be easier with longer gaps. Keep in mind crowds are possible here sometimes, but with that kind of quality it’ll be worth sharing the peak for a few good ones.

The middle of the week holds smaller but still promising west groundswells through Wednesday to Thursday, mainly in the 3ft range, with 14 to 15 second periods and light winds. Energy sits in the moderate 500s. Good fun for the intermediate surfer. Friday the 17th drops off in quality and size, with only 2ft to 2ft on offer and moderate wind. It gets pretty ordinary into the weekend of the 18th, with a 2ft SSW swell and no real energy – definitely not the best time.

Now, as we head into the third week, we see things start to pick up again. On Sunday the 19th there’s a short-period 5ft easterly swell with 340 energy, but it’s only fair. The real return form looks to be Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd, when we get back-to-back days with some clean 2ft to 3ft east and south groundswells, 14 to 16 second periods, and moderate energy in the 460 to 601 range. Winds are light, so plan your sessions around those.

A sneaky good option is on Saturday the 25th. The morning has a 4ft easterly swell, 7 seconds, but it’s the afternoon that stands out: 2ft SSW groundswell at 15 seconds, glassy wind, and 512 energy. That combo at a reef and point like Infinities is pure magic – clean lines, long rides.

Overall, don’t get too excited this first week for size, but if you pick the windows (especially Tuesday the 14th and Tuesday/Wednesday the 21st-22nd) you’ll score some clean waves. Longer-range standouts like the 25th afternoon look promising but are less certain at this range. Rusty out.
