Table - best surf conditions forecast for Anglet - Corsaires over the next 16 days.
Alright folks, Rusty here. Let's have a look at what's cookin' for Anglet - Corsaires over the next couple of weeks.
Right off the bat, it’s a bit of a slow start. We’ve got a few small, clean waves coming through on Sunday morning, but nothing to get too excited about. The real story is a long wait for the good stuff. There’s a big gap of mostly poor conditions, with a few glassy but tiny days, until we finally see some proper swell.
The first real spark of life shows up on Monday the 20th. The morning starts with a clean 1.8m swell from the NW, with light offshore winds from the NE making it glassy. The wave energy is ramping up big time (305). By the afternoon, that offshore wind is firmer from the E at 12 mph, pushing into a solid 2.1m NW swell. The energy is getting real (437). This is a promising window.
But the standout – and I mean the real standout of this whole forecast – is Tuesday the 21st. That morning, we’ve got a solid 2.5m swell from the WNW, groomed by a gentle offshore breeze from the E at 9 mph. The wave energy is absolutely pumping (1314). This is a session for the experienced crew only, as it’s getting onto the big side, but it’s going to be powerful and clean. A word of caution though: the afternoon sees the swell up to 3.0m, which is too big for this break, so make the most of the morning.
Wednesday the 22nd is a fantastic follow-up. The morning offers a solid 2.0m NW swell with a nice cross-offish breeze from the SE, keeping things clean. The energy is still strong (668). The afternoon is a dream – glassy, with a 1.8m NW swell lighting up the break. The water temp is about average for the time of year, so no surprises there.
After that, the swell fades and the conditions get messy again from Thursday the 23rd onward. There are a few small, clean mornings but nothing worthwhile. The long-range stuff late in the second week is just windswell and chop.
So, the call is simple. The best on offer is Tuesday the 21st morning for the big, powerful, clean lines, with Wednesday the 22nd being a brilliant, more manageable follow-up. Get on it.
Rusty.
