Thursday the 6th and Friday the 7th are more of the same: 2ft to 3ft of E/ENE swell, mostly short period, but the mornings go glassy with light W winds. Surfable, but not exciting. The energy stays low (79, 111, 88).

Here’s the first standout: Saturday morning, the 8th of August. The swell hits 3ft from the ENE, period is still short at 8 seconds, but the wind is glassy from the N, and the combined energy jumps to 329 (moderate). The forecast expects good surf conditions. It’s a beginner-friendly spot, and with glassy wind, it’ll be clean. Crowds are often here, so expect some company. The afternoon goes glassy again with a 2ft SE swell at a very long 13 seconds, but that long period might make it straight at the beach break.

Sunday the 9th through Tuesday the 11th, the swell builds to 4ft-4ft from the SE/SSE, with periods around 12 seconds. The energy gets strong (479, 551, 516), but the wind is cross-on or cross, and conditions are poor to marginal.

The middle of the week, from the 12th to the 14th, the swell drops to 2ft-3ft. There are a few glassy moments, like Wednesday afternoon the 12th and Thursday morning the 13th with a light offshore WNW wind, keeping it clean. The energy is moderate (143 to 206), but the waves are still small.

Now for the second week. Saturday the 15th has a nice afternoon window: 4ft of SE swell, 8-second period, and glassy conditions from the ESE wind. The energy is strong at 348, and the forecast expects good surf conditions. It’s a promising session, but it’s a longer-range call, so keep an eye on it.

The real excitement comes later. Monday the 17th through Wednesday the 19th is a big swell event. The swell builds to 5ft-6ft from the ENE/E, with periods from 7 to 10 seconds. The combined energy is strong to very strong (313, 710, 768). But the forecast says the swell is predicted to be too big for this break. For a beginner-friendly spot, anything over 5ft is getting big, and 5ft-6ft is too much. The wind and tide are favorable, but the size will be too much for most. The wind is light cross-on or cross-shore, so it’s a mess. This setup looks more interesting for kite surfing than paddle surfing.

The best bet is Saturday morning the 8th for a clean, glassy session with fun-sized waves. The Saturday afternoon the 15th is a solid second option. The big swell in the third week is too much for this spot.
