Updates in hr min s Forecast update imminent
Alright folks, Rusty here. Let’s break this down. Eerste Steen is the only spot lighting up the forecast, and it’s got some real heaters lined up.
We start with a bit of a wait, but Monday the 6th morning is where it’s at. Glassy conditions, a clean 7ft WSW swell, 11-second period. Water temp is 56°, which is about 4° colder than usual, so you’ll want a good suit. The energy is pumping at (1226)—plenty of power. This is a standout for intermediates; 7ft is a bit much for beginners.
Monday afternoon backs off to 5ft, still glassy, but that morning is the highlight.
Tuesday the 7th keeps the quality: morning 6ft SW, 12 seconds, glass. Afternoon bumps to 7ft, 13 seconds, and the energy hits (1719). Excellent for experienced surfers. The sets will have long gaps, making it easier to get out, and the waves will have real shape.
Wednesday the 8th morning brings 7ft SW, 13 seconds, and glass again. Energy is (2316)—serious grunt. Another standout. The afternoon gets a cross-onshore wind and loses some shine.
Thursday the 9th through Friday the 10th sees swell building to 8ft to 10ft. This is big—only for experts. Thursday is choppy, but Friday morning cleans up with cross-off winds and 10ft SSW swell (2604). If you’re experienced, that Friday session is a serious option.
Saturday the 11th morning is glassy with 7ft SSW groundswell, clean and quality.
Sunday the 12th morning drops to 5ft S swell, glassy, fun but not a highlight.
From Monday the 13th to Wednesday the 15th, the surf dries up. Swell drops below 3ft, energy is weak (175-270). A real lull.
Thursday the 16th brings a return: morning glass, 6ft SW, 12 seconds, energy (1098). Afternoon pushes to 8ft but wind turns cross-on.
Friday the 17th has 7ft SW but cross-on wind—still surfable.
Saturday the 18th is blown out with moderate cross-shore winds.
Sunday the 19th is your long-range standout: morning cross-off winds, 7ft WSW, 13 seconds, energy (1498). Afternoon glassy with 6ft. A solid close to the period if it holds.
Monday the 20th and Tuesday the 21st drop off again—small and clean but unremarkable.
Top calls: Monday the 6th morning and Wednesday the 8th morning for the first week. For the second week, Sunday the 19th looks promising but is further out, so stay hopeful.
Rusty.
