Surf Forecasts:
The Lowdown
Alright folks, Rusty here. I gotta level with you. I’ve scoured the charts for the next 16 days, and honestly, it’s a total flat spell. There’s just nothing coming in. Not a bump, not a ripple, not a whisper of a swell. So, we’re looking at a solid stretch of nothing from now all the way through until the end of the forecast on August 23rd. The wind is often clean, sometimes even glassy, and the water’s gonna be looking like a lake, but there’s no wave energy to work with. The combined energy is sitting at zero (0) for the whole run. It’s a bummer, for sure.
The only break we’ve got on the radar is Oshawa. It’s a fairly consistent spot, exposed to an ESE swell, but with nothing coming from that direction, it’s a total no-go. The best we can say is that the offshore and glassy conditions we’ll see on a few mornings (like the 14th, 17th, and 21st) would be perfect if there were any waves. But there aren’t. For a spot that’s usually fairly consistent, this kind of blank run is a bit of a surprise, but it happens. The forecasts can change, so keep your eyes peeled, but for now, leave the boards in the shed.
Rusty.
