Table - best surf conditions forecast for Aracaju over the next 16 days.
Alright crew, Rusty here. Let’s cut to the chase – this 16-day outlook is a total dud. Every single day in the forecast is labeled poor, so we’re not looking at any good surf on the horizon.
We start on Friday the 10th with a tiny 3ft swell from the SE, but the wind is onshore and it’s messy. The water is a comfy 80°, which is about average for the season, so no surprises there. The energy is weak, and it’s just not worth the effort.
This flat and onshore pattern drags on all week. There’s a bump in size around Wednesday the 15th and Thursday the 16th, with the swell hitting 6ft or even a bit over, and the energy gets strong. But the wind is a nightmare – fresh cross-onshore, lumpy, and choppy. For a beach break, that’s not surfable; it’s a mess. If you’ve got a kite, this might be your jam, but for a paddle surfer, it’s a no-go. The swell is too big for beginners, and the wind is ruining it for everyone else.
That windy, choppy pulse lingers through the middle of the window, but it never cleans up. By the 20th and 21st, the period drops to a weak 8 seconds – just short-period wind swell – and the onshore winds are still blowing. The energy drops back to moderate, but the quality is terrible.
The final days, from the 23rd to the 25th of July, are more of the same: small, short-period slop with onshore winds. There’s nothing to recommend here. It’s a blank run, and unfortunately, that’s just how it goes sometimes. Forecasts can change, but for now, I’d keep the board in the garage.
