Table - best surf conditions forecast for Whispering Waves over the next 16 days.

Alright, Rusty here, let's have a look at what Whispering Waves is serving up. This is a point break that's real exposed to the south, so it knows how to pull in a good one when the time is right. Just a heads up, the water is sitting at 68°F which is about average for this time of year, so nothing out of the ordinary there.

The first real shot of surf kicks off on Saturday the 11th of July in the afternoon. It's a bit messy to start with a 7ft SSW swell, crossed up by a light SE wind. The combined energy is solid at 1497, but honestly, the conditions aren't dialled yet. You're better off waiting.

Sunday the 12th of July is where it starts to get good. The morning brings a clean 5ft SSW groundswell with glassy conditions from the east. That's clean, lined-up surf and the energy is pushing 919. This is a proper window.

Things get a bit wonky from the 13th through the 14th, with onshore winds and a shift to a shorter-period easterly swell. It's not the best look. Then Tuesday the 14th of July morning, the wind swings offshore from the southwest and cleans up a 7ft E swell (710 energy). That's a nice clean session.

Now, for the standout of the first week... look at Friday the 17th of July. Fresh offshore winds out of the southwest are grooming a solid 10ft SSW groundswell in the afternoon, with a massive 3128 combined energy. That's heavy, powerful surf. This point break will handle it well, but at 10ft, this is strictly for experts only. The morning session on the 17th is also good, with a 6ft swell (1387 energy) and the same clean offshore wind.

Saturday the 18th of July morning is a gem. Glassy conditions again, with a 7ft south swell pumping at 1984 energy. Crystal clear conditions, this is the best session of the whole run for experienced surfers. After that, the wind picks up and makes a mess of things.

Jumping into the second week, there's not much to shout about from the 19th to the 21st. The winds are mainly onshore and the swell drops right off. Tuesday the 21st has some clean offshore winds, but the swell is tiny at 1ft—barely surfable.

Then things get interesting again. Wednesday the 22nd of July morning brings a sudden spike: a 10ft SW swell and absolute glass. That's another expert-only window with 1883 energy. But it's a short window.

The big one for the end of the forecast is Friday the 24th of July. That morning, you've got a 7ft SSW groundswell with a ridiculously long 18-second period—proper groundswell pushing 3331 energy—and it's being cleaned up by moderate offshore winds from the SSW. The afternoon is even bigger: 8ft at the same 18-second period, with 4676 energy. This is a long-range shout, so it's promising but you've got to keep an eye on it. The long period means it'll be a point-break dream, with proper power and shape, but you'll need to be on your game. After that, the winds turn onshore again and the quality drops out.

So the best on offer: you're looking at Saturday the 18th of July morning for the cleanest, most surfable conditions at 7ft, and the Friday the 24th of July for the biggest, most powerful swell of the whole run. Don't let the onshore days from the 19th to the 23rd put you off—forecasts can change, and the quality is there when it hits.

Rusty.
