Well, I'm gonna be straight with you – this outlook is a tough one. We're looking at Praia do Meio, and to be honest, the whole 16-day window is a write-off. There isn't a single session that's worth paddling out for. Every single time slot is marked with "poor surf conditions" and scores a zero. It's a real shame, because the river mouth there *can* cook, but not this time.
You've got a bit of swell pushing in, but the wind is just relentless. It's onshore or cross-onshore the whole run, and that's going to chop everything to pieces. The wave energy is mostly between 93 and 664 (that's moderate to occasionally strong), but with that wind, it's just messy. It's the kind of setup that would be more interesting for kite surfing than paddle surfing. There's a long gap here from the start right through to the end of the forecast period with no recommendations at all.
The water temp is sitting at 80° with a 2° anomaly, so that's pretty much normal for this time of year, nothing to write home about.
Honestly, put the board away for this one. The whole stretch from August 10th all the way through to August 25th is a dud.
