Table - best surf conditions forecast for Jacaraipe over the next 16 days.
Alright, let me break it down for you, feet and degrees style. We’re looking at Jacaraipe – a sandbar break that’s pretty consistent but picky about wind. Water temp is around 74°, so about normal for the season. But the first few days are a total dud.
Saturday 11 July kicks off with a 4ft SE swell, 13-second period, but the wind is onshore from the ESE and the waves are a mess. Nothing doing. Sunday 12 July morning looks cleaner with light cross-off north winds and 4ft SE swell, but it’s only called marginal. Monday and Tuesday (13th and 14th) are blown to bits with strong cross-shore winds from the SSW and S – lumpy, cross-choppy, and no fun.
Wednesday 15 July throws up a solid 7ft SSE swell with a 12-second period and a combined energy of 1026 – that’s a lot of power. But the wind is still cross-shore and it’s bumpy. For a sandbar, that’s not ideal.
The big standout is Thursday 16 July. This is the one. We’ve got a 8ft SE swell with a long 13-second period and a massive 1671 combined energy – serious, serious power. The wind is a light cross-on from the east, so it’s not glassy, but everything else lines up. The size though – over 8ft – means this is for experts only. Beginners, stay well away. The SE direction is exactly what this break wants.
Friday 17 July morning is your next best bet: light cross-off north winds, 6ft SE swell, and conditions called very good. That’s a clean session for anyone experienced. The afternoon turns onshore and choppy again.
From there it drops off. Saturday 18 July morning has 4ft ESE swell and light cross-off winds – clean but small. The rest of that week into the next is mostly small, ordinary surf from 2ft to 5ft, with onshore winds in the afternoons. There’s a small clean window on Saturday 25 July morning with 3ft SSE swell, but it’s nothing special.
And then Sunday 26 July morning offers a late pulse: 5ft SE swell, 13-second period, clean cross-off north winds, and combined energy of 1135. That’s nearly two weeks out, so it’s a long-range maybe – promising, but not certain.
So the short of it: Thursday 16 July is your big-wave, expert-only standout. Friday 17 July morning is the cleaner, more manageable option. The rest is mostly small, blown out, or just nothing special.
