The whole 16-day window is basically a long flat spell with only brief moments of marginal surf. The water temperature is sitting at 66°F, which is about average for this time of year, so no surprises there.
The first real whisper of anything rideable comes on the morning of August 11th—that’s Tuesday in the second week. We’re looking at a tiny 2ft swell from the southeast with a period of 14 seconds.
