Table - best surf conditions forecast for Cable Bay (Porth Trecastell) over the next 16 days.

Alright, folks, it's Rusty here. Let's cut through the noise and have a real look at what's cookin' for Cable Bay (Porth Trecastell). This is the only spot on the radar for this stretch, so let's see if it's worth the trip.
First thing you need to know: the water is sitting at 63° right now, which is a solid 4° warmer than normal for this time of year. That's a big deal in these parts, makes the session a lot more pleasant, even if the waves are a struggle.
Honestly, for the first week and a half, from the 13th of July all the way through the 24th, it's a tough watch. The swell is tiny, mostly a measly 0.3ft to 1.0ft, and the combined energy is just a whisper (1-14). The wind is clean, often offshore, which is a tease. It's a glassy, clean lake out there, but there's no power behind it. It's a frustrating flat spell, and the setup is more interesting for a kite surfer than a paddle surfer right now. You'll be sitting on your board doing nothing.
Then, around the 23rd of July into the 24th, we get a little flare-up. On Thursday the 23rd afternoon, the swell bumps up to 4ft from the SW with a period of 5 seconds, and the energy finally gets into double digits (70). By Friday morning the 24th, it's hitting 4ft from the SW with a 6-second period, and the energy breaks into triple digits (104) for the first time all outlook. This is the best we're going to see. The problem is the wind. It's a cross-onshore breeze from the west, which will put a chop on the face. It's not going to be perfect, but it's the only window of actual rideable surf. The swell direction is SW, which is right in the sweet spot for this exposed break.
After that, it fades back to fluff. The 25th and 26th of July see a return of offshore winds, but the swell drops right back to under 2ft. It's clean again, but the energy is gone.
So, the takeaway? If you're dying for a paddle, mark your calendar for Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th of July. It's the only real swell on offer, but don't expect perfection. The wind will be messy, but you'll actually catch a wave. For everything else, it's a waiting game. The consistency isn't there, so a blank run like this is just part of the deal for the area.
Stay thirsty, and keep an eye on the sky.
