Table - best surf conditions forecast for Bikini Beach (Gordon's Bay) over the next 16 days.

G'day, Rusty here.

Alright mate, let’s have a look at what’s on the cards for Bikini Beach at Gordon’s Bay over the next couple of weeks.

First things first, the water is sitting at about 59.2°, which is spot on for this time of year, nothing out of the ordinary there.

We've got a quiet spell ahead right through the first few days. Sunday the 12th is tiny with a tiny 0.7 ft swell, and really, not much happens until later in the week. It's a bit of a flat start, I won't lie.

Wednesday the 15th afternoon shows a bit of energy starting to build with a 6.2 ft SSW swell, but it’s a bit messy with a cross-shore breeze, so it’s not one to get excited about just yet.

Thursday the 16th afternoon is where we see a little glimmer. The swell drops to a clean 4.6 ft from the SW with glassy conditions. The energy is moderate (669), but it’s more of a ‘maybe have a look’ than a standout.

Now, the first real ripper of the window arrives on Friday the 17th. The morning has a clean 5.9 ft SSW swell (844 energy) with a cross-offshore breeze from the SE. The afternoon steps it up a gear: 7.5 ft SSW swell, strong offshore wind from the ESE at 12 mph, and the combined energy jumps to 1343. This is clean, punchy, and pumping. This is easily the best early option.

Saturday the 18th has some size on offer but it's a bit messy with cross-shore winds and a marginal tide call, so it’s not as clean.

Fast forward a bit. Monday the 21st into Tuesday the 22nd is looking outstanding. Monday afternoon has an 8.2 ft SSW swell with a light offshore breeze and 2424 energy. Tuesday morning is the absolute gem of the whole forecast: 8.2 ft SSW swell, glassy conditions, and a huge 2709 combined energy. The period is a long 14 seconds too, so this is a proper groundswell. The waves will be well-shaped and powerful, but that size and period means it's for experienced surfers only – not a day for learners. Tuesday afternoon stays good with a clean 7.2 ft and 1929 energy.

Be warned, Wednesday the 23rd gets smashed by a strong 25 mph NNW wind making it a complete mess. Skip that one.

But then, Friday the 24th is another absolute standout. Morning brings 6.6 ft SSW swell with a clean offshore from the SE, but the afternoon is the peak: a solid 8.2 ft SSW swell, period stretching out to 18 seconds, and a huge 3841 energy reading. Offshore winds from the ESE at 16 mph will keep it clean. This is proper, powerful groundswell – best for the point setup here, as that long period can be tricky on beach breaks.

Sunday the 26th morning offers the biggest numbers with a 9.8 ft SSW swell and 3816 energy, but that size is into expert territory and the wind is a bit cross-offshore. Still, it's a big, clean swell if you've got the skills.

So, the two true standouts in this run are Tuesday the 22nd morning for the glassy perfection and Friday the 24th afternoon for the sheer size and power.

Oh, and a heads up – Bikini Beach here is a point break that rarely breaks, so when this swell lines up, you’ll want to be on it, but just know it's not a guaranteed daily wave. Crowds are possible.
