Alright, Rusty here again, looking at the same Bandol - Les Nervis zone. I’ll put it in feet and miles for you.
It’s a bleak outlook. The water’s at 74°, which is about 4° warmer than the average for this time—feels like a warm bath, not the ocean.
The first 13 days are almost completely flat. The combined energy of all swells is mostly in the single digits (1 to 45), which is basically nothing. There’s one pulse on Monday, July 20th in the afternoon, with a 7ft swell from the west, period of 7 seconds, and a combined energy of 388. That’s the only real wave energy in the whole window, but the wind is cross-onshore from the SSE at 9 mph, so it’ll be choppy and messy. For a beach and reef spot, it’s not going to be fun.
The break is inconsistent and rarely breaks, so this long stretch of flat is pretty normal. The best looking day is Thursday morning, July 9th—glassy, with a 2ft swell from the SW, but the period is only 5 seconds. That’s weak, short-period windswell, with an energy of just 23.
