The Lowdown
Gather 'round, crew. Rusty here. We're lookin' at a stretch for Figari that's pretty flat for the most part... a real test of patience. The first ten days are a total write-off, with barely a ripple and poor conditions. We've got a real gap of almost no surf to speak of from this Friday, the 31st of July, all the way through to the 10th of August. There's a little blip of energy that shows up for the 11th and 12th, but it's nothing to get excited about.
The one and only window that might get your heart beating a little is around Tuesday, the 11th of August. The morning session sees a small, clean pulse of swell from the west pushin' in at 4 ft. The period is a short 7 seconds, so don't expect any deepwater groundswell grunt, but with a light offshore breeze from the east-northeast hittin' the face, it could be the best of a very quiet bunch. The combined energy is moderate (166), so there's a bit of push behind it. The afternoon will drop off to 3 ft from the west with a light offshore or glassy wind, but it'll be smaller. This is a very inconsistent spot, though, so patience is key. If you're a beginner, the 4 ft morning might be a bit much for you; advanced surfers are the ones who'll get the most out of this setup.
