Alright, let’s look at what’s cookin’. To put it straight, the next 16 days are looking pretty anemic. There’s a big gap of flatness to start, with barely a ripple for a long stretch.
The only spot we’ve got to talk about is The Harbour, a beach and groyne break. It’s usually fairly consistent, but Mother Nature is off the clock right now. The combined swell energy numbers are all in the teens or lower—stuff like 2, 7, 13—that’s just whisper-thin energy. Most of the time, you’re looking at tiny, short-period wind swells.
The first real chance to paddle out will be on Saturday the 11th. There’s a little 1ft swell from the SSE, with a short period of 5 seconds. The wind will be a clean cross-offshore from the SSE. It's not going to be anything special, just crumbly little waves, but the conditions will be clean. The combined energy is still only 13, so don’t expect any power.
You might also find a tiny window on Sunday the 19th. A glassy morning with a 1ft SE swell and a combined energy of 6. Again, tiny and clean, but tiny is the key word.
No info on the water temp, so I can't tell you if it's warmer or colder than normal.
Honestly, this is a classic flat spell. The best we can say is that the clean, glassy mornings might give you something micro to play with. For the most part, this stretch looks more interesting for kite surfing than for paddle surfing. Keep the board in the car, but keep your expectations on the floor.
