The Lowdown

Alright folks, Rusty here. Let's have a look at what's on the cards.

Honestly, looking at the whole 16-day window, I've got to be straight with you – it's a flat spell for the Lake. There's not a single wave showing up in the data for the entire period. We're looking at a solid run of days, from the 18th of August right through to the 2nd of September, with absolutely nothing rideable. The combined energy of any swells directed here sits at a big fat zero (0) the whole time. It’s one of those blank runs that can happen around here, where the lake just goes to sleep. The wind does a bit of dancing around, sometimes offshore, sometimes onshore, but without any swell to work with, it doesn’t mean a thing for us surfers. Don't get too bummed out, though – forecasts can change, and it rarely stays this quiet for long.

So, for now, leave the boards in the shed and keep an eye on the sky. The lake will wake up again.
Rusty.
