Alright, Rusty here. Let's have a look at what's coming our way for the next couple of weeks.

Honestly, it's a bit of a quiet spell we're looking at. For the entire 16-day stretch, there's no real surf to get excited about. We're talking about tiny, weak swell the whole time. It's a long, flat gap from now until the end of the run, so if you're hanging for a wave, you might want to pick up another hobby for a bit.

Looking at Crash Boat, which is a beach and reef setup and the only spot offering anything. It's an inconsistent wave, so this kind of flat run is pretty normal for it. We just aren't seeing any kind of real energy. The south swell that shows up is dribbling in at 0.7 ft, and even when it shifts from the north, it's barely a ripple. The water temps are about average for the time of year at 84°.

Your best bet across the whole period is probably the morning of Friday the 17th. That morning, it's going to be glassy with an offshore breeze from the NE at just 3 mph. You'll have clean conditions, but it's still only 0.7 ft of north swell. The combined swell energy is weak at just (4). It doesn't look good, but it's the nearest thing to a window we have. If you've got a log, you might find a tiny ankle-snapper.

Another super calm moment pops up on the morning of Monday the 20th, where the wind goes completely calm and glassy, but again, it's 0.7 ft of south swell with weak energy (5). It's clean as a whistle, but there's nothing to surf.

For the rest of the days, it's a mix of tiny offshore mornings and afternoons with a bit more wind, but it's all in the "poor surf conditions" category. There's just not enough swell to push through. Even when we get a bit of glass on the 25th, the swell is basically non-existent.

So, to sum it up: there's nothing here for the paddle surfer right now. If the wind kicks up and those tiny south swells line up, it might be more interesting for a kite, but for us, it's a waiting game.

Rusty.
