Later on, Saturday morning (18th) sees a pulse of 4ft swell from the NW with a period of 9 seconds and combined energy climbing to 313. The wind is onshore from the W at 9 mph though, so it’ll be bumpy. That’s a bigger day, but the quality will be off unless the wind plays ball.

To be honest, for the next couple of weeks, it’s mostly a case of waiting for those rare glassy windows. The highlight is definitely that Wednesday morning (15th) – small, clean, and at Anglet - La Piscine, that’s as good as it’s likely to get in this run.
