Zvulun Beach Surf Forecast and Surf Report

Alright folks, Rusty here. Let me be straight with you: it’s looking pretty grim for Zvulun Beach over the next couple of weeks. I’ve been through the numbers and there’s just nothing to get excited about.

We kick off on Monday, 3rd August, and honestly, it’s a washout. The morning is dead flat with zero energy, and a cross-on breeze from the NNW at 6 mph is just messing with the surface. The afternoon barely improves – a tiny 2ft swell from the WNW with a short, weak period of 5 seconds, and the wind picks up to 12 mph. The combined energy is a measly 14 (weak), and the water is sitting at 85°, which is a touch warmer than usual for this time of year. It’s just poor surf conditions all around.

Tuesday, 4th August, the morning looks glassy and calm, but there’s absolutely no swell to work with – zero energy. The afternoon brings back that same weak 2ft windswell, but it’s onshore and messy.

Wednesday, 5th August, is more of the same. The morning has a slight cross-on breeze but no waves. By the afternoon, we’re looking at a pathetic 1ft of swell with a 3-second period – that’s barely a ripple. The combined energy is a laughable 1 (weak).

The rest of the first week and into the second week follows this pattern. From Thursday, 6th August, all the way through to Sunday, 16th August, there are multiple days with zero swell energy. The wind shifts around – cross, onshore, sometimes glassy – but it doesn’t matter because there are no waves. The odd afternoon on 7th August shows a 2ft swell, but with a 12 mph onshore wind, it’s just choppy and useless.

We see a tiny flicker of life on Thursday, 13th August, with a 2ft swell from the west, but the period is only 3 seconds and the wind is a messy cross-onshore at 12 mph. The combined energy is only 5 (weak). Then on Monday, 17th August, the afternoon brings a 1ft swell from the WNW with a 6-second period, but again, it’s onshore and weak with an energy of 12 (weak). The very last day, Tuesday, 18th August, has a 2ft swell from the WNW with a 5-second period and a 12 mph onshore wind – poor surf conditions.

The reality is, Zvulun Beach is an inconsistent spot, and this forecast is a dry spell. There are no standout days, no clean windows, and no decent swell. If you’re desperate for a paddle, you might find a knee-high ripple on a glassy morning, but it’s not going to be worth the drive. The setup looks more interesting for kite surfing than paddle surfing on the windier afternoons, but that’s about it. It’s a tough run, but it tends not to stay this poor for long, so keep an eye on the forecasts.
