Alright, Rusty here. Let me break down what we're looking at for Dosim Beach over the next couple of weeks.

Honestly, friends, it's a tough one. We are looking at a long, dry spell with no real surf to get excited about. The whole 16-day window is a bit of a write-off, to be blunt. The only half-decent windows are a few mornings where the conditions turn from "poor" to "marginal," but that's not saying much. We're talking about a stretch of flat to tiny, weak, and often wonky conditions.

The water is currently a touch warmer than normal for this time of year at 82°, but that's about the only thing that's not a downer.

Let's run through it. From Monday the 13th right through the rest of the week, it's a total bust. Swell is tiny, only 2ft to 3ft, and coming from the WNW. The period is short, between 5 and 8 seconds, meaning weak, mushy waves with no punch. The wind is all over the place—cross, cross-on, and onshore—keeping the surface bumpy. The combined energy is weak, barely cracking 30 (29 on the 13th morning). It's a big fat zero on the scoreboard.

We get a slight, and I mean *slight*, flicker of hope on Thursday the 16th morning. The swell is still small at 3ft from the WNW, but the period stretches to 8 seconds, and the combined energy bumps up to 91. The wind is a light cross-onshore, creating small ripples. It's labelled as "marginal." For a beginner on a longboard, it might be worth a paddle if you're desperate, but steer clear of the big stuff.

Then it's back to the doldrums. From Friday the 17th all the way through to the end of the month, the story is the same. Tiny swells, 1ft to 2ft, with periods of 5 to 7 seconds, and combined energy that rarely gets above 70. The wind is a mix of light cross-shore breezes and stronger onshore afternoon winds that ruin any chance of a clean wave. The last day of the month, the 28th, has a tiny 1ft swell with a period of 6 seconds. It's a flat, frustrating outlook.

The only other "marginal" moments are on the mornings of Sunday the 26th and Monday the 27th. Same story: small swell, light cross-onshore wind, and a combined energy of 61 and 53 respectively. It's not worth a special trip.

For a spot that's exposed but inconsistent, this kind of blank run is more normal for the area. It's not a reflection of poor luck; it's just how it goes sometimes. The good news is that forecasts can change, and it tends not to stay this poor for long. But for now, with such small, weak swell and poor wind, the setup at Dosim Beach looks more interesting for kite surfing than paddle surfing. There are no standouts, no hidden gems, and no reason to rush out the door.

Stay patient, and keep an eye on the charts. This one's a pass.

Rusty.
