The Lowdown
Alright, Rusty here. Let me give it to you straight – Dosim Beach is lookin’ like a quiet stretch ahead. Not much happening at the start. The first waves worth even a mention don’t appear until Thursday, July 30th, and even then it's borderline. From Monday the 27th through Wednesday the 29th, it’s just poor surf across the board.
Thursday morning the 30th might get you out if you're keen: 3ft swell from the WNW at 7 seconds, combined energy of 68, light cross-onshore breeze. It’s weak and short period, but it's the first sign of life.
Friday morning July 31st is the best we've got. The wind goes glassy, with the swell coming in at around 2ft from the WNW at 8 seconds, combined energy of 61. Small, sure, but glassy clean conditions for a beginner-friendly wave. Dosim Beach is a beginner spot, so this session is your window if you want the cleanest little waves in this quiet spell.
Beyond that, it’s back to poor surf with onshore breezes and chop until Friday morning August 7th, which gives you another glassy shot, but it’s tiny – just 2ft from the WNW at 6 seconds, combined energy of 22. Clean but small.
After the 8th of August, the swell just fades out completely. Heights drop to 1ft, periods at 6 seconds, combined energy in the single digits. It’s practically flat.
So, best on offer: Friday July 31st morning. Glassy, small, and clean. If you miss that, Thursday the 30th morning is your next look, but it’s got a light cross-onshore ripple. Stay tuned, these dry spells can change.
