From Friday morning, August 7th, right through to Saturday, August 22nd, the waves are just not there. Dosim Beach is an exposed beach break, best with a WSW swell, but we're getting small, weak WNW windswell instead. It's an inconsistent spot that's always crowded, and for a beginner-level break, this is a total washout. The setup looks more interesting for kite surfing than paddle surfing, given the constant onshore wind and small, choppy waves.
So, the honest truth is: there are no good surf options in this 16-day window. It's a blank run, and that's just how it is for this area right now. Don't hold your breath; forecasts can change, but for now, keep the board in the bag.
