The Lowdown
Alright folks, Rusty here. Let’s chew the fat on what Dosim Beach is throwin’ down over the next couple weeks.
Straight up, it’s lookin’ pretty bleak—barely a ripple worth paddling for. The water’s warm at 29°, about a touch warmer than usual for the season, but with no swell to soak it up, it’s just another day of staring at a flat ocean.
First hint of anything happens Friday July 31st. Morning brings a tiny 2ft swell from the WNW with a short 8 second gap. The energy’s weak (45), and there’s a light cross-onshore breeze. It’s marginal—call it knee-high if you’re generous. By afternoon the wind shifts onshore and it’s back to nothing.
Saturday August 1st shows a similar morning: still 2ft out of the WNW, 7 second period, energy flat (47). Light cross-onshore wind keeps it cleanish but there’s just no power. Afternoon’s a total dud.
From there, it’s a massive dry spell. Saturday afternoon through to the end of the outlook—nothing but poor conditions, small weak swell, and onshore wind. Not a single window worth chasing.
Bottom line: Dosim Beach is dead this period. No standouts, no clean swell, no reason to get wet. Keep the wax in the wrapper.
