Alright, let’s take a look at what’s on offer for the next two weeks.
Honestly, it’s gonna be a tough stretch for anyone looking to get wet around here. The whole 16-day window is basically flat. There’s zero energy coming in for the first week all the way through to the end of the month. You’ve got a whole lot of nothing happening from the 15th of July right through to the 29th.
The only tiny blip I can see is on the afternoon of Wednesday the 22nd of July, where a tiny little 1 ft swell from the SSW shows up. But the period is a measly 2 seconds, so it’s barely a ripple. The combined energy is just 1 (1) – that’s not even enough to push a sea lion around. Winds are light and cross-shore, so it’s clean, but there’s simply no wave to ride.
Vouliagmeni is a beginner spot, but it’s inconsistent at the best of times, and for this whole forecast it’s a dead loss. The water temperature is sitting at 79°, which is much warmer than usual for this time of year, but that’s about the only thing that’s going to make you feel good.
If you are desperate, you could probably enjoy a swim or a paddleboard, but for surfing? There’s nothing to chase. This is one of those blank runs that can happen in this area. The wind is often offshore or glassy, so conditions are clean, but without swell, there’s no point. It might be more interesting for kite surfing if that’s your thing, but for a traditional surfer, stay home and wax your board for another day.
