Alright folks, Rusty here. Let's have a look at what's on the table for the next couple of weeks.
Well, I gotta be straight with you. This is a tough one. For the entire 16-day window, there's not a single wave breaking at Vouliagmeni. The forecast is showing zero swell energy across the board, a flat 0. So, we're in for a long stretch of nothing. Don't bother checking the buoys or staring at the horizon for the next sixteen days.
From Thursday, September 3rd, right through to Friday, September 18th, it's a total blank. The winds are going to be clean and offshore a lot of the time, and you'll even see some glassy mornings, especially on the 6th, 9th, and 13th of September. The water temperature is about average for this time of year, so it's comfortable for a swim, but that's all you'll be doing. For a beginner spot like Vouliagmeni, this is a proper flat spell. It's not unusual for the area to go quiet for a stretch, but a full 16-day run of zero is a real bummer. The whole setup is a dead loss for paddle surfing, every single day.
Stay hopeful, though. Forecasts can change, and it tends not to stay this poor for long. But for now, the boards are staying on the roof.
