Alright, crew, Rusty here. Let’s break down the next sixteen days.
Honestly, it’s a total bust for the entire period. We’re looking at a sixteen-day stretch with absolutely no surf on offer. The combined energy of all swells directed here is a flat zero (0) for almost every single entry. There’s just no push in the water.
The only tiny blip happens late in the run, on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 15th. We might see a barely-there bump of 1ft from the SSE with a period of just 2 seconds. The combined energy is still only 1, so it’s not going to produce anything you can paddle into. The wind that afternoon at Vouliagmeni is glassy, which is a real shame to waste on flatness.
Given how inconsistent this spot can be, this kind of empty run is pretty normal for the area. The water is sitting at a warm 76°F, which is about 2°F warmer than the average for this time of year – nice for a dip, but not for a surf.
We’ll just have to wait and see if the next models bring anything better.
Rusty.
