Honestly, looking at the next 16 days for this area, we've got a proper blank run on our hands. There’s not a single wave on the cards from now through to the 22nd of August. The combined wave energy is zero (0) the whole way through. It’s a total flat spell.
The one spot we’ve got is Vouliagmeni, and while it’s normally an exposed little cove that can pick up a south swell, there’s just no swell to pick up. It’s inconsistent at the best of times, and it's beginner-friendly when there is something. The water temp is sitting at 78°F which is pretty much what you’d expect for this time of year. Nothing unusual there.
A few mornings see a glassy offshore blow, like Friday 7th afternoon with a dead calm, or the 16th and 18th afternoons. It’d be beautiful-looking water, but not a ripple to ride. Through the middle of next week we get some moderate to fresh offshore winds from the north, but again, it’s all just flat and clean with no surf.
So, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s absolutely nothing worth paddling out for in this forecast window. No standouts, no sneaky little runners – just a long, dry spell. The kind of run where you just fix your boards, go for a swim, or take up another hobby for a fortnight. Keep an eye on the charts though; it never stays this poor forever.
