Alright folks, Rusty here with a look at the next few weeks. We've got a long stretch ahead with absolutely nothing happening on the surf front.
Straight up, the outlook for the entire 16-day window is a flat spell. There's not a single wave worth paddling for. From Friday 11 September right through to Saturday 26 September, every single forecast slot shows "poor surf conditions" and a big fat zero for swell energy (0). It's a total blank run here for Vouliagmeni.
This sort of extended flat period is not unusual for the area. It just means the ocean has gone to sleep. The water's sitting at a very warm 79°F, which is much warmer than normal for this time of year – a solid 4° above the seasonal average.
