Table - best surf conditions forecast for Non Nuoc over the next 16 days.
Alright folks, Rusty here. Let’s take a look at what’s on the table for Non Nuoc over the next couple of weeks.
Alright, the outlook is a bit of a slow burn. We’ve got a few days of tiny, weak waves to start, but a solid little pulse moves in for the weekend that’s worth circling. The water temp is sitting at 85°, which is about average for this time of year, so no surprises there.
The first real action we see is on Friday, July 10th. It’s nothing to write home about in the morning—waves around 1ft from the ENE, with a moderate offshore breeze keeping things clean. The combined energy is moderate (115), but it’s small and a bit weak. The afternoon glass-off is a beauty though, with the same 1ft swell and glassy conditions, pushing the energy up to 176. It’s ordinary-sized but clean.
Saturday, July 11th is the standout of the whole run. Morning sees 3ft ENE swell with a 17-second period and a moderate offshore wind from the WSW. That’s a proper groundswell, and the energy jumps to 599—strong. The afternoon builds even more to 4ft, same direction, same clean offshore wind, and the energy hits 810. This is *very good* surf. The long period means the waves will have some punch and shape, but because it’s a beach break setup, that long period can make them a bit straight. Still, with the wind and size, this is the best on offer.
Sunday, July 12th morning holds that 4ft swell from the ENE with a 16-second period, clean offshore wind, and energy at 733. Another solid session. The afternoon turns onshore from the east, and the size drops to 3ft, so the morning is your window.
After that, it’s pretty much a ghost town. From Monday, July 13th all the way through to Wednesday, July 23rd, the surf is tiny, weak, or blown out. The energy values are mostly in the single digits or low double digits—weak stuff. There are a few moments of glassy or clean conditions, like on Thursday, July 23rd morning with 1ft from the ENE and glassy wind, but the energy is only 75. It’s surfable but very ordinary. The following day, Friday, July 24th, is the same story—0.7ft and glassy, but energy is down to 23.
So, the bottom line: if you want a paddle, get out on Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th. That’s your window. The rest of the two weeks is a long flat spell, so don’t hold your breath.
Rusty.
