Table - best surf conditions forecast for Non Nuoc over the next 16 days.
Alright, Rusty here. Let’s see what’s cookin’.
First thing’s first, don’t bother paddling out on Wednesday the 8th or Thursday the 9th of July – it’s flat as a pancake. A total dud.
Friday the 10th of July, the morning gives us a tiny 0.4m (1.3ft) ENE swell. With a light offshore wind from the WSW, it’s clean but it’s weak, with an energy reading of only 110. It’s a longboard wave at best.
Now, Saturday the 11th of July is the real deal. The morning shows a 1.0m (3.3ft) ENE groundswell with a long 21-second period. The energy jumps to 873, and a moderate offshore from the WSW keeps it looking good. But the afternoon is where it peaks – the swell pushes to 1.3m (4.3ft) from the same ENE direction, and the energy jumps up to a solid 1063. The wind goes light and cross-off from the SW, keeping it clean. This is the one to aim for. That's proper, punchy surf for experienced surfers at Non Nuoc.
Sunday the 12th of July still has some fun waves in the morning – 1.0m (3.3ft) from the ENE with a 16-second period. The offshore wind holds from the WSW at 12 mph, so it’s clean with moderate energy (474). Get out there early, because the afternoon goes onshore and messy.
After that, you’ll be waiting a long time. From Monday the 13th right through to Tuesday the 22nd of July, it's mostly tiny, weak surf. A couple of mornings have offshore winds, like on Wednesday the 22nd, where we see 0.9m (3.0ft) from the NNW, but the energy is still weak (83). By Thursday the 23rd of July, the wind goes glassy in the afternoon, but there’s only 0.3m (1.0ft) of swell. Not worth the effort.
The bottom line is this: for a proper session, Saturday the 11th is your standout. Morning or afternoon – both are solid. The rest is mostly for the flat spell crew.
Short Range ForecastMostly dry. Warm (max 33°C on Thu morning, min 27°C on Wed night). Wind will be generally light. | Days 4-6 Weather SummaryMostly dry. Warm (max 34°C on Mon morning, min 28°C on Sat night). Wind will be generally light. | ||||||||||||||||||||
