Table - best surf conditions forecast for Tel Baruch South Beach over the next 16 days.
Alright folks, Rusty here. Let’s have a look at what’s on the cards for the next couple of weeks.
Honestly, it’s a pretty grim stretch for the most part. We’re looking at a long, dry spell with barely anything to get excited about. The first real chance of a wave, and I mean a *chance*, doesn’t roll around until Thursday the 16th of July, and even then it’s pretty ordinary. Before that, we’re looking at a full five days of tiny, onshore junk from the 11th through the 15th – not worth paddling out for.
The standout, if you can call it that, is the early session on Thursday the 16th at Tel Baruk South Beach. It’s the only morning in the whole outlook where the wind goes glassy. The swell is a small 3ft from the WNW with a period of 8 seconds, and the combined energy is a weak 91 – just enough for a longboard or a foamie. The water is a touch warmer than normal at 82°. For the total beginner, this might be the only window, but don’t expect any kind of power or shape. After that, it’s back to onshore slop for days.
The rest of the outlook is a write-off right through to the end of the month. Even towards the 25th and 26th of July, when the swell builds a bit to 4ft to 5ft (energy creeping up to 168-173), the wind is all cross-on or onshore, ruining it. It’s clean in the morning on the 26th, but the wind is still cross-on, and the poor surf conditions label is a dead giveaway.
So, the real story here is: if you’re a beginner, you’ve got a tiny glassy window on the morning of Thursday 16 July. For everyone else, this is a two-week bust. The setup looks more interesting for a kite surfer than a paddle surfer on most of those afternoons with the onshore breeze.
Rusty.
