Table - best surf conditions forecast for Tel Baruch South Beach over the next 16 days.
G’day, I’m Rusty. Let’s have a look at what’s on offer for Tel Baruch South Beach over the next couple of weeks.
Honestly, it’s a pretty flat and frustrating stretch coming up. The swell is tiny and the wind is mostly onshore or cross-onshore, so things are going to be lumpy and weak. The best we can say is that the water is a touch warmer than normal for this time of year at 82°, with a positive anomaly of 3°, so it’s nice and warm if you’re just floating around.
From Sunday 12 July right through to Monday 27 July, there’s not a single session that scores well. The swell height barely nudges above 3 ft on the afternoon of Wednesday 15 July, coming from the WNW with a short period of 8 seconds – that’s weak, wind-swell stuff. The combined wave energy reaches 110 (moderate) that afternoon, but with onshore wind at 9 mph and a 3 ft wave, it’s messy and not worth paddling out for. Every other day is smaller, with periods of 6 or 7 seconds and energy readings mostly under 100 (weak). The wind is almost always onshore or cross-onshore, with only a few moments of light cross-shore or glassy conditions on Saturday 25 July morning – but with just 2 ft of swell, it’s barely a wave.
There are no standout days. The surf is too small and too wind-affected for any real fun. The break is a beginner-friendly beach setup, fairly exposed, but with no decent swell and poor conditions, it’s not worth getting wet. The only positive is that the water is warm and the sky stays clear. If you’re a beginner, you might find a few tiny, crumbly waves on the glassy morning of 25 July, but don’t expect much.
For the whole 16-day window, there’s nothing to get excited about. It’s a long run of poor surf, and that’s just how it is here sometimes. Forecasts can change, but right now, leave the board at home.
