First up, the first week is a total bust. From Sunday the 2nd right through to Thursday the 7th, it’s flat and ugly. The swell is tiny, mostly 1ft to 3ft, with short, weak periods of 6 to 10 seconds and the combined energy is barely a whisper (41 to 137). The wind is mostly cross-on or onshore, so it’s choppy and not worth the effort. Just a blank stretch.

Things perk up a little on Friday the 7th. The morning shows a swell of 5ft from the NW, with a period of 8 seconds and the energy jumps to 284 – that’s moderate power. The wind is a light cross-on from the NW, so it’s not perfect, but it’s the first real bump. The afternoon stays similar size but gets blown out by a moderate NNW breeze. The morning is the best we’ll see.

Saturday the 8th drops a touch to 4ft, energy down to 200. The morning has a light NNW wind onshore, so it’s not clean. It’s still a passing grade.

The standout window in this whole 16-day forecast is the morning of Friday the 7th. That 5ft NW swell at 8 seconds is the biggest and most energetic, and while the cross-on wind isn’t clean, it’s the least messy of the lot. The water temp is 71°, which is about 3° colder than normal for this time of year – a bit nippy, so grab a wetsuit.

The rest of the second week stays poor. From the 9th onward, we’re back to small swells (3ft to 4ft) with short periods and winds that are cross-on or onshore. The energy never really recovers, only hitting 233 on the 17th, but the wind is onshore and messy. No quality.

So, the call is simple: the morning of Friday the 7th is your best shot. It’s not going to be a classic, but if you’re itching for a wave, that’s it. Otherwise, this is a typical dry spell for Skhirat Plage. It’s a beach and point setup, and without a decent swell and clean wind, it’s just not happening. Don’t stress – forecasts can change.
