First up, the water temp is sitting at 64.2°F, which is about 1.3°F cooler than the norm for this time of year, so nothing to worry about there, it's pretty average.

The window kicks off on Monday the 14th. The afternoon shows a small 2.6ft NW swell with a period of 10 seconds. The real story here is the wind – it's glassy, dead calm. That combined energy is a weak 210. For a beginner spot that's very consistent, this is a perfect, easy session. Clean lines, no stress.

Tuesday the 15th sees a similar 2.6ft WNW swell, but the wind goes a bit cross and then gets rowdy with 18.6 mph winds in the afternoon. It's not worth paddling out for.

Wednesday the 16th and Thursday the 17th see the swell bump up, with heights around 5.9ft to 6.6ft from the NW/NNW. The combined energy climbs into the moderate range (748 to 1006). The wind stays cross-offshore, which keeps it clean, but the forecast calls for marginal conditions. For a beginner break, the size is getting a bit much, and the quality isn't there.

Now, Friday the 18th is where it gets interesting, but it comes with a warning. The morning shows a solid 7.9ft NW swell with a very long 16-second period. That's groundswell energy, and the combined energy is a strong 2881. The wind is clean from the NE. This is a powerful, lined-up swell, but at a beach break, that long period can make it close out and dump hard. By the afternoon, it jumps to 9.8ft, with the combined energy hitting a very strong 4796. The report flat-out says it's too big for this break. This is expert territory only, and honestly, the setup might be more interesting for a kite surfer than a paddler at that size.

Saturday the 19th morning is the best of the bunch if you're experienced. You've got a 7.9ft NNW swell, a 13-second period, and clean NE cross-offshore wind. The combined energy is still strong at 1885. It's going to be big and powerful, but the wind is right for it. This is the standout for the confident surfer.

Sunday the 20th morning is a nice reset. The swell drops to 4.9ft from the NW, the wind goes fully offshore from the ENE, and it's clean. The combined energy is a moderate 505. This is a much more manageable size with good conditions – a solid choice for a Sunday morning.

The pattern holds into the following week. Monday the 21st is a beauty. The swell holds at 5.6ft from the NW with a nice 12 to 13-second period, but the wind is glassy all day. That's 868 to 969 of combined energy with a mirror finish. That is a proper window of clean surf.

Tuesday the 22nd morning is another glassy session, with the swell easing to 3.9ft. After that, we hit a flat spell. Wednesday the 23rd drops to a tiny 1.6ft, and the combined energy is a weak 85 and 97. It’s glassy, but there’s nothing to ride.

We get a small bump back on Thursday the 24th with a 2.6ft NW swell, but the real return comes Friday the 25th morning. A clean 5.2ft NW swell with 11-second period, glassy conditions, and a combined energy of 589. That's another morning of good, clean waves.

The last few days into the end of the month and start of October see a mix of smaller swells, often with glassy conditions on the mornings of the 26th, 27th, and 28th. The swell direction swings around a bit, but the size stays in the 3.3ft to 4.6ft range with moderate energy. It's not epic, but it's surfable and clean. Tuesday the 29th morning has a tiny 2.3ft, but a very long 14-second period and a glassy surface, making it a weird but possible small-wave option.

Overall, the real standout window is Saturday the 19th morning for the experienced crew, and Monday the 21st for anyone looking for clean, fun waves with no wind.
