Table - best surf conditions forecast for Noises over the next 16 days.
Alright, let's talk Noises in feet and miles. This is a reef for the advanced crew, consistent when it's pumping, and it loves a good WSW swell – exactly what the forecast shows. Water temp is about 66.6°F – just a touch above normal, nothing wild.
The whole 16-day run kicks off with a real gem: Wednesday morning July 8. Glassy conditions, wind barely a whisper, and a solid 11.5ft groundswell from the WSW with a 16-second period – that's long-period gold. The combined energy is 6067 (strong), and with almost no wind, it's going to be clean, powerful, and strictly for experts. Crowds are possible, but at that size and break, you'll have room if you know what you're doing. That's the best session of the entire outlook.
After that, things get messy. Thursday and Friday bring onshore and cross-winds, dropping size and quality. Saturday picks up a bit of height but with cross-chop. By Sunday July 12 afternoon, there's a nice 7.5ft SW swell with a 17-second period – that super-long period is ideal for a reef, and the combined energy hits 6310. Wind is light cross-shore, so still some texture, but it's a solid second choice for advanced surfers.
Then Tuesday July 14 is another clean window. Morning has a light cross-off breeze, afternoon goes offshore from the ENE with glassy conditions. Same 10ft SW swell, 15-second period, combined energy around 4250 (strong). That's excellent for experienced surfers, and the offshore wind will make it a dream. Again, crowds are possible.
The second week goes downhill fast. From Wednesday July 15 through the weekend, we get strong onshore winds, then a huge spike in size around July 19-20 – 21ft to 24ft from the W, which is way too big for this break (over 8ft, so really only for the crazy expert crowd, and even then the wind is messy). The combined energy hits 22,171 (very strong), but it's blown out and dangerous.
After that, the last few days (July 21-23) stay big but with choppy cross-onshore winds and rain – not worth paddling out.
So if you're an expert, hit that Wednesday morning July 8 and the Tuesday July 14. The rest is either marginal or just too ugly. Keep an eye on the Sunday afternoon July 12 if you want something a bit different.
