Table - best surf conditions forecast for Tel Baruch North Beach over the next 16 days.

Alright, Rusty here, and I’m looking at the next 16 days for Tel Baruch North Beach, and I’ve got to be honest – it’s a real flat spell.

For the entire 16-day stretch, there’s nothing worth getting excited about. The swell is tiny, the energy is non-existent, and the wind is just messing things up. It’s a long, quiet period with no real surf on offer.

The water temp is around 83°, which is a touch warmer than normal, so at least the water feels good.

Starting Thursday, July 9th, we’ve got a weak 3 ft swell from the WNW, but a cross-onshore breeze is making it choppy and ugly. The combined wave energy is a weak 76. That’s the story for the whole first week. Friday the 10th drops to 2 ft, Saturday and Sunday the 11th and 12th have some glassy mornings, which is a cruel tease, but the swell is only 2 ft with a short period of 6 seconds – just not enough to ride. The energy is in the 20s (weak).

This pattern of tiny, weak swell and onshore wind holds steady day after day. There’s a slight bump on July 16th, with a 3 ft swell and energy hitting 61 (still weak), but it’s onshore and messy. It’s a classic poor surf outlook. With the setup being a beach and point, these tiny waves and the wind mean it’s more of a kiteboarding spot right now than a surf spot.

This spot is usually fairly consistent, so it’s a downer to see such a blank run. It’s one of those times where you just have to wait for the forecast to change. Right now, there’s absolutely nothing to recommend.

Rusty.
