Now, after that long wait, we finally get a tiny glimmer of hope. On the morning of Tuesday, July 28th, things might just tick over. We're looking at 3ft of swell from the SE, with a period of 5 seconds. The combined energy of all swells directed here is 56, which is still weak. But the key here is the wind: a light offshore breeze from the North. That will keep the surface clean. Bogliasco is a sandbar setup that's fairly exposed to the south, so this SE swell has a chance to wrap in. The crowds are *sometimes* an issue here, so on a Tuesday morning you might have a decent chance of a solo session. It's not going to be world-class, but it's the only surfable option in the entire 16-day window. The waves will be small and weak, so it's really only for beginners or those desperate for a paddle.
