The offshore breeze from the NNE will make it look okay, but don't expect much push.

Sunday the 13th morning is another glassy window, with a 2 ft NW swell and the period stretching to 10 seconds. The combined energy is up to 167, still weak. It's the same story: surfable but nothing to write home about, and the afternoon gets blown out by a WNW breeze.

The real story here is the waiting game. The swell builds through the middle of the week, but the wind is a problem. On Wednesday the 16th, we get a 6 ft NW swell with a period of 9 seconds, and the combined energy jumps to 712, which is moderate wave energy. But a fresh cross-onshore wind at 22 mph is going to turn it into a lumpy, choppy mess. Thursday the 17th morning sees the swell at 6 ft from the NW with a period of 11 seconds and a combined energy of 668, but it's a light cross-shore breeze with small ripples, making it a marginal call. This is a beach-and-reef setup, and with the wind and size, this looks more interesting for the kite surfers than for paddle surfing.

Now, let's get to the standouts. The best on offer by a long shot is the morning of Saturday the 19th. We've got a clean, glassy start with a 4 ft NW swell and a period of 10 seconds. The combined energy is 269, which is getting into the moderate range, and the morning surf is expected to be good. The light offshore wind from the N will make it clean. It's an intermediate-level wave, so it's not for beginners, but for those in the know, this is the pick of the first week.

Looking further out, and this is a bit more of a long-range promise, the morning of Friday the 25th of September is the standout of the entire forecast. The swell is 4 ft from the NW, but the period is a very long 15 seconds – that's proper groundswell. The combined energy is 867, which is strong. To top it off, we have a light offshore breeze from the E, making for clean conditions. Keep in mind that with a period over 15 seconds, this long-period swell will be breaking a bit too straight for a beach break, but here at a reef setup, it should offer some nice, lined-up waves. The size at 4 ft is manageable for intermediates, and with the clean offshore wind, this is the session to circle on your calendar.

In summary, you've got a few days of waiting for small, clean windows, with the morning of the 19th being the best early call. But the real blockbuster is the morning of the 25th of September – keep an eye on that one.
