The Lowdown
Alright folks, Rusty here. Let’s be straight with you – this 16-day window for Paradise Beach is a tough one.
We’re looking at a complete flat spell. There’s no swell to speak of for the entire forecast period, from July 15th right through to July 30th. The combined energy of all swells directed here is a big fat zero (0). The water temperature is sitting at 82°F which is about average for the time of year.
Paradise Beach is a point break that rarely breaks, and unfortunately, this stretch is a perfect example of why. The wind will be blowing offshore from the east at 16 mph to 22 mph nearly every day, which would be mint if there were waves, but there’s nothing to groom. The sea is just flat and clean.
Because this spot is so inconsistent, a blank run like this isn't exactly a surprise, but it's still a bummer. There’s nothing to recommend here. Not a single wave to hunt. The only thing you’ll be riding is a sun lounger.
Keep your eyes on the horizon, but for now, it’s a no-go.
Rusty.
