The Lowdown
Alright, this is Rusty checkin' in. Gotta be straight with you – the next 16 days are a total bust for Paradise Beach. We are lookin' at a solid, unbroken run of zero swell energy (0), day after day after day. The whole 16-day window is just flat, mate. There’s nothin' to get excited about.
The only thing we got is a constant offshore wind, blowin' from the East and East-northeast, mostly a fresh breeze at 15 to 19 mph. Normally that would be a dream, but without any swell to work with, it’s just a dry hairdryer. The water temperature is sittin' at 82°, which is bang on average for this time of year, so the water feels fine – you just won't be surfing in it.
I know it's tough. Paradise Beach is a point break that only rarely breaks, and this stretch of flat water is a perfect example of why. It's one of those places where a blank run like this is more normal than not. Don't hold your breath; the forecast can change, but right now, there's not a single wave to be had.
Rusty out.
