Alright, this is Rusty. Let me look at what's cookin' for Kumcagız.
Well, I gotta be straight with you—there's a big fat zero on the board for the entire 16-day window. From Monday the 14th of September right through to Tuesday the 29th of September, the ocean is just not cooperating. There is no swell to speak of, not a single wave with any height or period recorded. The combined energy is sitting at a flat 0, which is about as lifeless as it gets.
Kumcagız is a sandbar setup that’s only rated for beginners, but it's also inconsistent, so this kind of blank run isn't totally out of character for the area. The winds do offer some clean moments here and there—like Wednesday the 16th morning with a clean cross-offshore breeze, or Thursday the 17th morning with more clean conditions—but without any swell to work with, it doesn't matter. You’re just staring at flat, clean water.
Even the glassy, dead-calm conditions on Tuesday the 29th morning with no wind at all can't save it. No swell, no surf.
So here’s the deal: there’s nothing worth paddling out for. Keep your gear dry and wait for the next system to breathe some life back into this stretch of coast. Forecasts can always change, but right now, it’s a solid rest period.
