Alright folks, Rusty here. Let's get straight to it. The bad news is right there in the data: there isn't a single wave worth paddling for in the entire 16-day window for Kumcağiz. None. Nada. The combined energy of all swells directed here is a flat zero every single day.
What we've got instead is a long, barren stretch starting now and running all the way through to the 22nd of September. It's a completely blank run. The winds will switch around a bit, from cross and cross-off to some glassy mornings on the 18th and 19th, and even a bit of offshore on the 20th, but without any swell to push through, it doesn't matter. For a spot that's inconsistent to begin with, this kind of flat spell isn't totally out of the ordinary, but it's still a bummer.
There's simply nothing to recommend. The setup here looks more interesting for a kite surfer on a windy afternoon than for anyone with a paddle. I'm sorry, folks. Keep an eye on the charts, because it can't stay this flat forever.
