Surf Forecasts:
The Lowdown
Alright, Rusty here. Let's be straight with you about this stretch of coast. I've stared at the charts for this spot, and it's a tough one.
Right now, through the entire 16-day window, there's just nothing doing. The swell is completely flat – we're talking zero wave energy (0) for the whole forecast period. That's a long, dry spell with no surf on offer from now all the way through to August 8th. It's a blank run, plain and simple.
For a sandbar setup like Kumcağiz (Kumcagiz), which is a beginner-friendly spot that's already inconsistent, this kind of dead period is pretty normal. The weather will be fine, with plenty of clear skies, but without a wave to ride, it's just a day at the beach. Wind-wise, we'll see some clean mornings – like on the 5th of August when it goes glassy, and the 7th of August morning with no wind at all. But even with perfect conditions, you can't surf what isn't there.
Hopefully, things change down the line, but for now, the only thing on offer is a paddle in flat water. The forecasts can shift, so it's not always a total loss, but as it stands, leave your board at home.
Rusty.
