Alright, Rusty here. Let's be straight with you. For the next 16 days, we're looking at a total flat spell. There's literally no swell on the cards for Ahtopol right now. Zero. Nada. The combined energy of all swells directed here is a big fat zero (0) for the whole forecast period. So, no waves to speak of.
The first few days, from Saturday the 1st right through to the end of the period, are all showing poor surf conditions. The wind is mostly a problem, blowing cross-on or onshore from the north-east or north, which is the wrong direction for this East-facing point break. Even when the wind does go light or glassy, like on the morning of Wednesday the 5th, there's still nothing but flat ocean to stare at.
This is a bit of a bummer, but it happens. Ahtopol is an inconsistent break, and a blank run like this is more normal for the area. We're looking at a solid 16-day gap with no surfable waves. Don't hold your breath for the second week either – the 10th, 11th, 12th, all the way through to the 16th are just as empty. The water temperature is about average for the time of year, but that's little comfort when there's nothing to ride. Keep an eye on the charts, but for now, find another hobby.
