Hey folks, Rusty here. I gotta be straight with you – the outlook for Ahtopol over the next 16 days is a total flat spell. The swell just isn't showing up. That point break is usually inconsistent, and this stretch proves it. Right now, on Sunday July 19, the water's sitting at 78° which is a solid 4° warmer than normal for this time of year – feels like a bath. But that warmth doesn't make up for the zero energy. The combined swell energy is a big fat zero (0) – nothing coming in from any direction. Winds are light and variable, even glassy at times on Tuesday morning July 21, but without a ripple of swell, it's just a flat lake. This dry run goes on day after day: Monday, Tuesday, all the way through to August 3. There's no standout session, no hidden gem – just a whole lot of nothing.
