Alright, this is Rusty.
Well, I've got to be straight with you. The outlook for the next 16 days is a tough one. Looking at the whole picture, there's just no swell on the cards for Agios Dimitros. The forecast is flat, pure and simple. We're talking about a solid run of days with zero wave energy coming in, and the combined energy of all swells directed here is sitting at 0. That's a big, fat zero, and it stays that way right through the 21st of August.
The water temperature is sitting at 78°, which is 2° warmer than usual for this time of year. Nothing unusual there, just a touch of summer warmth.
Now, the wind is a different story. The wind is going to be offshore and clean for most of the next two weeks, with some glassy patches on the 19th and 21st. That's a real shame because the wind is begging for a wave to work with, but there's just nothing to surf. The setup is so clean and the wind is so favourable that it almost feels like a tease. On a few afternoons, like the 6th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, and 16th, the wind will be a strong offshore breeze at 25 to 28 mph, which would make paddling out a mission even if there was a wave. The rest of the time, the wind is light to moderate and offshore, perfect for groomed lines, but there are no lines to groom.
So, there are no good surf options in this 16-day window. It's a flat spell. The only highlight is that the wind is generally clean, so if a sneaky little pulse were to show up, conditions would be fantastic. But as it stands, there's nothing to recommend. I'd keep an eye on the charts, but for now, maybe take a week off or find something else to do. This is a blank run.
