Alright, Rusty here. Let's be straight with you about what's on the table for the next couple of weeks.
Look, I've got to be honest with you. The outlook for Agios Dimitros is a flat spell. There's nothing on the cards for the entire 16-day window that's worth paddling out for. This is one of those rare stretches where the ocean just isn't playing ball. We're looking at a solid block of days with no surf to speak of. It's a bit of a bummer, but it happens.
The water's sitting at a very warm 80.4°, which is a lot toastier than usual for this time of year, but that's about the only thing working in our favour.
The first real hint of anything comes on the 11th of September, but it's weak. We're talking a tiny 1.3 ft swell from the south, with a short period of 5 seconds. The wave energy is basically nothing at 8. The wind is offshore from the ENE in the morning, which would keep it clean, but there's just no power in the water. It's a frustrating tease.
The rest of the days are just more of the same. Strong offshore winds, glassy conditions, but absolutely no swell to ride. The wind is often strong and offshore, which is perfect for a kite, but for a surfboard? It's a no-go. The setup here is more interesting for kite surfing than paddle surfing.
