Alright, grab your board and let’s get real about the next couple of weeks. The long-range models are showing us a whole lot of nothing for a while. We’re looking at a dry spell at Agios Dimitros that’ll test your patience. The first week and a half is basically a write-off. No swell to speak of, just clean but empty water. The only blip on the radar is the afternoon of Thursday the 17th. We finally see a pulse of swell, a tiny 0.3ft from the south with a 6-second period. But that’s not surf, that’s a ripple. The combined energy is essentially nothing at 1. It’s not worth your time. It’s a glimmer of hope, but barely.
After that little tease, we go straight back into the doldrums. The forecast shows another full week of nothing through the 24th. The wind stays offshore, mostly, which is cruel. So, the whole 16-day outlook is a bust. There are no good surf options, period.
Agios Dimitros is a fickle, inconsistent spot, and this is one of those times it’s just not firing. It tends not to stay poor for long, and forecasts can change, so keep the faith. But as it stands, you’re better off doing something else.
