Alright, I’m Rusty, and I’ve been staring at the charts for your area. I gotta be straight with you—this is one of those rare 16-day windows where the ocean just switches off. We’ve got a solid two-week stretch coming up with absolutely nothing on the cards. No swell, no energy, just flat water. From now through Saturday, September 7th, it’s a total blank. The first tiny sign of life doesn’t show up until Monday, September 7th, and even then, it’s barely a whisper. Expect a lot of lake-like conditions out there for a while. This kind of quiet spell isn’t unheard of for this region, so don’t get too down—forecasts can flip, but for now, leave the board in the bag.
The only spot that’s even registering is Agios Dimitros, and it’s a real patience game. It’s an inconsistent wave that rarely breaks, and this stretch is no exception. The water temperature is sitting at 80°, which is a touch warmer than normal for this time of year, so at least a dip won’t be a shock to the system.
Around the 7th of September, we finally see a pulse.
