Tasmania North Coast Surf Breaks

A big array of beach breaks, river breaks and reef and rocky shore breaks rarely over 5ft, but we have to wait for enough swell due to the protected nature of Bass Stait. Westerly storm swells, easterly storm swells and easterly ground swells give an erratic mix. If you want surf the locals say go west and the others hope for something softer on the east coast ..... Johnvan der Woude

Mostly beachbreaks, some headland point breaks. Epic Noosa on big swells and 2 rivermouth setups. beautiful long beaches broken up by headlands and coves, clean rivers and majestic hinterlands. A flora and fauna paradise ..... Andy Ervin
