South Coast of England Surf Breaks

South England is home to many beautiful beaches although not a favorite as swell and waves go. The further east you head the worse it gets as the swell windows decreases and and channel weakens anything heading along. Surfers still make do with wind swell and the occasional big ground swell that makes it. An Artificial reef has been built down in Boscombe pier in Bournemouth but without any luck of creating the epic waves it was wanting. Apart from a massive boost in tourism not much has changed in the wave conditions. The Witterings are one of the most popular places to go on the south coast as well as Bournemouth pier. Get used to drop-ins on this part of the coast, as the local boys want a wave when one's about. Kimmeridge is popular with longboarders and one of the better places to hit on a decent SW swell.
