Hot pipe in South Coast of England is a fairly exposed beach break. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the north. Windswells are much more common than groundswells and the ideal wave direction is from the southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Best around high tide.
