Durlston on the South Coast is a sheltered point break that does not work very often. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the west with some shelter here from southwest winds. Groundswells and windswells are equally likely and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. Best around low tide. Rarely crowded here. Watch out for rocks and rips.
