Fairlight on the South Coast is a fairly exposed beach break that only works once in a while. Winter and spring are the best times of year to visit. Ideal winds are from the northwest. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. Best around high tide. Rocks are a hazard.
