The forecast updates every 6 hours and most live weather reports update every hour. Margaret River Surf Breaks

If you're expecting calm east coast surfing conditions then think again. This region of WA is home to waves that eat surfers and Margaret River is renowned as one of Australia's big wave spots. Not all the breaks in the region regularly max out and a scatter of surf breaks can be found that suit all abilities. That said however, there are definitely more spots here that suit the experienced surfer. The coastline is beautiful with plenty of coves to explore and there are waves to be had year round. Local knowledge will be a big help if you're planning on staying here for a while.
