Castle Rock Surf Guide

Castle Rock in Margaret River is a very sheltered point break that has unreliable waves. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds are from the south southwest with some shelter here from southwest winds. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the northwest. There is no point break. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Watch out for sharks.
