Isle of Wight Surf Breaks

For the Isle of Wight to have a decent wave a good sized southerly swell needs to come up the channel. Compton, Freshwater Bay and Niton are all ideally situated for this. Freshwater can get quite rippy and has rocks around so it's not for beginners. On a decent SW swell you can land a decent hollow right of the point. Decent road network with plenty of places to sleep, eat and park.
