Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. There is a right hand reef break. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of coral.

“Surfed today with a mate. 3 to 4 foot left hand barrels. Plenty of power and speed. Looks small from road as is a long paddle out but bigger once there. Can be a difficult paddle back against tide.
Stunning spot but go with a friend. Agree about leg rope!”
