Weligama Surf Guide

Weligama in SW is an exposed beach and reef break that has fairly consistent surf. Summer offers the favoured conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the north. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break offers mainly left hand waves as well as a right hand reef break.. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Pollution may be a hazard at this break.
