Cave Rock in Durban is an exposed reef break that has dependable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the west. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south. There is a right hand reef break. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for rips and rocks.
