“I wish someone had warned me about the locals at Wallys before I ever attempted to surf it. Crew of very tight men ranging from young adult to adult holds down this spot and can very very easily spot an outsider. They seem to all know each other and have a good grip on who normally rides the wave. Dangerous trail coupled with a non uniform reef of submerged boulders makes this wave hardly worth the hassle. I can only imagine this spot turns on very rarely and the days are few and far inbetween.
I ended my session here with a broken finbox, berated ego, and a clear understanding that this is not my, nor any other non-local's ideal wave. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SURF HERE”
