The Wreck on the North Coast is a very sheltered reef break that has consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the south southwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. Waves at the beach break both left and right together with both left and right hand reef breaks offshore.. Good surf at all stages of the tide.
