North Durras Reef in Far South Australia is an exposed beach and reef break that has inconsistent surf. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds are from the northwest. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights as well as left and right hand reef breaks.. It very rarely gets crowded here. Hazards include rips, rocks and sharks.
