Depot Beach Surf Guide

Depot Beach on the South Coast is an exposed beach break that has quite consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the west with some shelter here from south winds. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Watch out for rocks, locals and sharks.
