Ko Samui in Gulf of Thailand is an exposed beach break that has inconsistent surf. Nov-April (Wet Season) provides best time of year for waves. Offshore winds are from the west northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the east southeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
